The trattoria "Is Zuddas" offers dishes from the Sulcis tradition, relying on suppliers operating in the Santadi area and using typical Sardinian and seasonal products.
The menu consists of land dishes starting with classic cold cuts (ham, salami, pancetta or guanciale) enhanced by the addition of olives, which the valleys and hills of the territory are particularly rich in, followed by local pecorino and goat cheeses.
The first courses, from ricotta and cheese ravioli to malloreddus alla campidanese, passing through "pillus" (Sardinian tagliatelle) and more, are handcrafted by the trattoria's expert cooks and cooked according to recipes passed down from our grandmothers.
The main courses are the part of the diet that varies the most in different parts of the island: goat or sheep meat cooked in a casserole, pork cooked with herbs, not forgetting roast suckling pig flavored with myrtle.
The desserts are from the Sardinian tradition and handcrafted, including fried ricotta ravioli, seadas, and cocias.
All enriched by local wines, especially Vermentino and Carignano.
