Path Description
Today we begin our descent towards the lowlands of Basso Sulcis, where there are still many traces of mining activity.
We pass through the Sa Marchesa lead, zinc, and copper mine and observe numerous abandoned limestone quarries.

We come across the railway line that once connected the Cixerri valley with the Basso Sulcis valley and continued on to the island of Sant’Antioco.
We go under one of the bridges of this railway and walk along comfortable dirt roads, mule tracks, and, towards the end of the route, paved roads.
