You walk through majestic holm oak forests of the Linas massif on granite terrain and cross numerous streams, until reaching the lush citrus and cherry gardens of Villa Scema. From the church of Gonnosfanadiga to the chapel of the Perd’e Pibera mine and the ancient church of Villacidro, all dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners is widely venerated here.
