Stage 04 – From Buggerru to Portixeddu

This is a relatively short stage, allowing you to spend the early hours of the day exploring the mining history of Buggerru. Not to be missed are the monument to the miners who died in the 1904 massacre, the mining museum, and the Henry Gallery. The rest of the stage is marked by the beautiful scenery of the Gulf of Leone, best enjoyed from above as you follow the road to the Nanni Frau mine and continue all the way to the extraordinary dune system of Portixeddu.

PLEASE NOTE: In Portixeddu, beach kiosks and restaurants are only open during the summer season; for the rest of the year, there are no food services or markets available.
