Miniera Montevecchio offers the opportunity to learn about every aspect of the mine in its 10km extension, thanks to six different tours: from the Palazzo della Direzione, the historic building of the Sanna-Castoldi family who founded the mine, to the miners' apartments, as well as mining life through shafts, compressors, cages, washeries, and mechanical workshops. Completing the true mining experience is a stroll through the only still accessible growing gallery, among drillers, wagons, stoves, and locomotives. Finally, a 4x4 tour to discover the entire mining area all the way to the Piscinas Sea.
