From an early age, I was passionate about nature, hiking, and sports; in 2020, I decided to take a course to become an environmental hiking guide. My homeland, Buggerru, with its significant mining history, motivated me to attend a course organized by the Historical and Environmental Geomining Park of Sardinia, where I now work as a guide.

PRESENTATION: My name is Fiorella Caria, I am a certified Environmental Hiking Guide by the Region of Sardinia and hold a degree in Natural Sciences. I am a guide for the Historical and Environmental Geomining Park of Sardinia and the Asinara National Park.
I am passionate about industrial archaeology, history, and mining techniques, and have worked as a guide for several years at the open mining sites of the Iglesiente and Northern Sardinia.
Mines are one of my greatest interests; I continue to explore mining areas not only for work and guide people to discover the mines of Sardinia—a millennia-old, fascinating story within beautiful nature.

PRESENTATION:Tiziana Dedola, tourist guide since 2014, born in the heart of Sardinia and raised in Bolotana, a small town in Marghine a few kilometers from Nuoro. Tiziana now lives in Nebida, a former mining village by the sea, where she manages a charming sea-view B&B, Pedra Rubia, and has been working for years as a tourist guide in the Iglesiente, specializing in mining. Before this, Tiziana lived in Rome, where she graduated in Communication Sciences, and in Naples and Milan, where she dealt with communication and web marketing, always wishing to apply her skills to promote her beautiful island, Sardinia. Here she returned in 2014, immediately becoming a Tourist Guide in Sulcis Iglesiente.
