The Su Mannau Caves, located in Fluminimaggiore, are a karst complex of 8 km, characterized by stalactites, stalagmites, and underground watercourses. The guided tour takes you into the heart of the mountain, through spectacular chambers. The path is built on comfortable walkways and stairs and extends for about 500 meters. Three levels of caves formed by nature over 15 million years are visited. The temperature is a constant 16 degrees and the tour is always guided. For foreign hikers, free audioguides are available in 4 languages. The average duration is about 1 hour and 10 minutes. There is ample parking and a small picnic area in a lush forest. Bar and coffee services are available outside.
