Stage 13 – from Su Mannau to San Benedetto

Path Description

On this part of the route, you continue walking through holm oak woods until you reach the Punic-Roman temple of Antas, dedicated to Sardus Pater.

You then proceed to rejoin the extensive excavations and many remarkable mining structures at the Baueddu, Malacalzetta, and San Benedetto mines, making this stage one of the most interesting from an industrial archaeology perspective.

In San Benedetto, there is a grocery market open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Sunday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
