Path Description
From a naturalistic and scenic point of view, this is one of the most evocative stages of the Cammino, thanks to the extraordinary beauty of the granite formations of Piscina Irgas, shaped by streams.
The holm oak forests, Mediterranean scrub and the numerous mining sites encountered along the way are also highly fascinating.
Today's route is demanding not so much because of its length, but due to the elevation gains you have to overcome.
Some sections require caution, especially in adverse weather conditions, as there are rocky passages at the highest point of the ascent to Punta Piscina Irgas on the way to the waterfall. After periods of rain, the subsequent fords of the Oridda stream can also become challenging.
