I will tell you the story of my mother, born in Masua and moved to Cortoghiana. You have indeed arrived in Cortoghiana thanks to the Path. This village is little known but reveals a story that is also that of Italy. After visiting Carbonia, the youngest city in Italy founded by Mussolini, Cortoghiana is a village born a few years later. Among miners' houses and squares characterized by rationalist architecture, we will visit the house museum of the artist Roberto Meloni, with his wonderful murals. We will continue the path towards Nuraxi Figus visiting archaeological elements such as the Domus de Janas of Serra Maverru.
