Nebida is a charming former mining village overlooking one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Sardinia. Set between mines and the sea, it offers stunning views of the Iglesiente coast and the iconic Laveria La Marmora, an impressive symbol of industrial archaeology.
The approximately 2-hour tour starts from the Nebida Belvedere, where visitors can admire the ancient mining sites on one side and the crystal-clear sea with its five sea stacks on the other, including the majestic Pan di Zucchero. Along the way, we will explore the mining history of the area and visit the Laveria La Marmora, a remarkable 19th-century structure dramatically perched above the sea.
Walking along old access paths and climbing the famous 400 steps, guests will enjoy unique views suspended between sky and sea, as well as a panoramic look at Nebida’s other washery, the Carroccia. The tour ends back at the belvedere, with an exterior visit to a historic miners’ house.
