Former Montevecchio Guesthouse to the right of SP 65 towards Costa Verde
The Guesthouse dates back to 1930 and was the accommodation for bachelor engineers. Today it houses the Mineral Museum of the Montevecchio Mine (Arbus) and the Diorama Museum on Mining History through various eras (Professor Enrico Dellacà Collection). The Professor Enrico Dellacà Diorama Collection includes a series of dioramas that miniature scenes of life and work inside the mines during different historical periods. An educational path that stimulates curiosity and imagination, engaging both adults and children. The Mineral Museum exhibits a vast collection of samples from the Montevecchio and Ingurtosu mines, from other sites in Sardinia and around the world, also enriched by fossils and rare geological formations.
